Minority Scholars Program is funded by the USDA-NIFA HEC Foundation. It is a scholarship and experiential program for incoming students, sophomores, juniors or transfer students. MSP Pathways Scholars awards for the 2018-2019 academic year will be in the amount of $5000 applied to your Iowa State University Bill.
The program offers an SEL (Student Experiential Learning) opportunity that enables scholars to build the skills and knowledge needed to advance their study, contribute to careers, and enter graduate education in food & agricultural science disciplines. Examples of opportunities may include undergraduate research, apprenticeships, internships, and study abroad programs relevant to the scholar’s major.
