The WQRL facilitates research to investigate the occurrence, fate, and transport of potential pathogens and chemical pollutants in natural and engineered environmental systems. The lab features separate spaces dedicated to research on pathogens and pathogen indicators, nutrients, sediments, and chemicals of emerging environmental concern, and is equipped to analyze a wide array of water quality constituents and some soil analysis.
